Lentils, they are so versatile and there are so many different varieties. I love them. And not only because they are a great replacement for meat. I love them because they taste great and are such a good source of nutients.
Finally a good oven baked falafel recipe… and yes, it’s from David Frenkiel and Luise Vindalh from Green Kitchen Stories. How could it not be?!? 🙂
Ever since I saw the recipe for corn rolls, also known as Arepa, on the website of “het keukenatelier” I knew I wanted to make them! These Venezuelan corn rolls sounded to good to me! First I had to figure out where to buy the main ingredients: PAN, a pre-cooked white corn flour. The grocery…
Blueberries and oats, I think they are a perfect match! Especially in this breakfast smoothie. Inspired by the oat milkshake recipe of Magda from Oatmeal Stories, I really wanted to try this oat-smoothie thing. Oats are a great source of nutrients, as blueberries are.

Sometimes it not about the looks… but really only about the taste. This jam is a good example of this kind of food. Golden kiwi chia jam with ginger, agave syrup lime and mint. It taste by far better than it you would think by looking at this photo, I can promise you that!
Gazpacho, there is something about this dish… first of all you instantly feel like you are in Spain, which is always good! Secondly, at least for me, I truly enjoy the pure and refreshing taste of fresh, raw vegetables. I really feel like treating my body to something good!

I really like her approach of not using refined or artificial sweeteners, and reducing also the intake or natural sweeteners. She mostly uses fresh or dried fruits as sweeteners in her recipes. This really fits with a healthy lifestyle…
Tabouleh, I can talk about this dish for hours. This is by far the first thing we buy in the French supermarket whenever and wherever we are in France! A true favourite.
