Who does not want a subtle smell of fresh flowers in her house? I would immediately say: I do, I do! Especially the scent of jasmin, which brings me straight back to my yoga holiday in India 10 years ago. Funny isn’t it how memories can be triggered by smell?
The inspiration for this house perfume, I got from the book Essential Glow from Stephanie Gerber from Hello Glow. This is a great book that is full of nice DIY beauty and home product using essential oils. If you ate into making your own beauty product or DIY cleaning products, I can highly recommend this book!
For me, the choice which essential oil to use was easy… it had to be jasmin. Luckily I had all the ingredients in my cupboard, so it took me literally less than 1 minute to make it. I added a little bit of ylang ylang to make the scent complete.
I have also made a few others combining jasmin (25 drops) with lavender (10 drops) and bergamot (5 drops), and one with lilly of the valley (30 drops) and ylang ylang (10 drops).
