Smoothie, for me a daily dose of fruit and green veggies. Today I tried a bit of a different version, smoothie in a bowl. Looks much more attractive than smoothie in a glas!
What a like a lot about smoothies is that you can easily vary, today spinach, tomorrow kale, today pineapple, tomorrow an apple because its ripe. Simple as that.
This version is my ‘all time favourite’ green one. I have been making it over and over again. The mix of fruit and veggies with parsley and fresh mint never seems to get boring. Especially not with the smooth taste and structure that avocado gives to it.

Green smoothie in a bowl
Delicious thick and creamy green smoothie with pineapple, pear, spinach, avocado, parsley and mint. Your daily dose of greens is guaranteed
- 700 ml water
- 200 gr pineapple
- 275 gr pear
- 120 gr avocado 1 medium sized
- 75 gr spinach
- 15 gr parsley
- 15 gr mint
Chop the pineapple in 3 cm chunks, slice the pear in quarters, deseed and peel the avocado, pick the mint leaves
Add all the ingredients into the blender. First water, then fruit, then avocado and then the greens. Blend until smooth
Serve in 4 bowls and put on a topping of your choice. I have used seeds, grated coconut, kiwi fruit, blue berries and a drizzle of honey
Want your smoothie a bit more chilled, use frozen pineapple and / or avocado! Add more water if you want it to be less thick
